minoxidil pill?

Can someone explain the minoxidil pill? I've never heard of it. Isn't there a risk of increasing body hair not just hair on your head?

Don't even consider it. Minoxidil taken interally is intended for hypertension. The risks are orders of magnitude greater than simply getting body hair....e.g., cardiac health/events.

....and yes you will grow hair in strange places, not necessarily where you want. that's why they came up with the topical solution.
