minoxidil problems after 2 years

Hey guys been using minoxidil 5% Kirkland for two years.. Recently I have started to get scabs where I apply minoxidil (On my crown) and well, its really itchy too, I have tried everything from Folligen, lasercomb etc.. Whats going on, how come all of a sudden this has started to happen?

I took a two week break too, from the first application of applying it.. it just started all over again.. strange!

Do I need to switch brands over to Dr Lees or something? This is frustrating!

I had the same problem too. Do you use Nizoral 2%? It seemed to have fixed mine

Yeah I use nizoral, it does help a tad bit! But it still is there!

You might throw some copper peptide at the problem. American Crew "Revitalize" spray is relatively cheap and might just do the trick

try ppg free minoxidil

My suggestion is to try #500 (contains less ppg) or ppg free minoxidil products from Dr. Lee.

If you use ppg free minoxidil you are less likely to get irritation. I was on rogaine for 3 years with great results. I stopped in 2002 because of irritation.
