minoxidil shed just 12 hours into treatment?

I applied Minoxidil for the first time a few nights ago and the day after the first application it was as if the heavens had opened hair just DROPPING down...

Is this a sign of an allergic reaction? Normally it's several weeks before shedding begins, so I'm told.

I'm keen to "ride it out" because internal DHT inhibitors just dont work for me.

Any assistance much appreciated.

Not sure, I had a similiar reaction to a 15% minoxidil solution. The following morning I lost approx 80 hairs just by brushing. I freaked and didn't use it again, instead I used 5% minoxidil and experienced the 'normal' shed after a few weeks.

I guess it either means you're going to have a superb response and grow back more, or alternatively lose all your hair damn quick!

dont be stupid, minoxidil doesnt even work that fast.
