Minoxidil with Progesterone or without?

I am about to purchase a few months supply of Minoxidil, and I am a little undecided of which one to go for.

earing in mind the apparently decent results obtained so far with just Finasteride, is it worth going for strongest Rogaine (Extra Strength 5% Minoxidil® with Progesterone), or one of the lesser varients?

5% rogaine is considered quite strong by most people's standards. I am told(not usings anything ATM) that rogaine 5% leaves a heavy glugy feel on your scalp. In addition i have been recommened(if my hairline doesnt improve in teh next 3 months) by my dematologist to use 2% rogaine. He said that works fine for most people.

So my advice(i am not a doctor or a dermatologist) based on what i have read is that you should give 2% a go for say 5 months and if that doesnt help you out, then go the 5%.

Sounds reasonable to me, are the stronger vairents "gloopier" than the weaker ones?
