Hey guys,

Newbie here. How is Minoxidil supposed to be applied to scalp? Do you use the dropper? Also do you part your hair and apply the Minoxidil direct you to your scalp, or do you just apply it your hair and then allow it to diffuse to your scalp?

And for those that use the sprayer, the same questions apply.

This is a very good question. I am starting to suspect more and more people don't understand this as I read more posts. Part your hair and try to get a small drop every 1/4 inch or so on your scalp. Minoxidil will spread a bit so you don't need to cover every part of your skin. Just do your best and don't fret over exact coverage.

You waste the minoxidil if yo do this. Plus your hair will be very greasy and will look grayish when the Minoxidil dries.

Also consider this. After you fill your dropper to the 1 ml line, take something and wipe off the dropper so the dropper doesn't have Minoxidil residue on it. This keeps it out of your hair as much as possible.

And for those that use the sprayer, the same questions apply.

The sprayer is for people with large areas of loss or shaved heads. The more hair you have the less functional MOST people will find the sprayer.
