Hi folks,

This is what I'm dealing with (an accurate representation of my crown and general thinning).

http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/1776/prog8ik.jpg

As you can see, there is somewhat of a thinning 'line' effect going from mid-scalp area towards the back left side of my crown. This is the most visible part of my thinning/male pattern baldness.

I'm not one for photos so this will have to do for now. :)

Basically, this is what it would look like cut very short, .. I have thick, semi-course hair which gets wavy when long. It's definately the type of hair that Wolfman would have when dry, and not flowing by any means :) Basically if I don't use styling aid, it is way too puffy looking!

Right now it's a few inches long, and it needs to be cut to reduce the amount of visible thinning. I have it 'slicked' back right now but sometimes I go for 'messier and wavy' and I use Blood of the Dragon brand styling gel because it's natural and I like the way it feels/looks.

I noticed my thinning (others noticed it first :( ) when I was 26 1/2, and I got onto Propecia soon after. I'm still assessing the situation currently, but I'm feeling good about my regimen overall. :) I have had zero sides from finasteride and I intend to continue using it for many years.

Haven't bothered with minoxidil yet.

:)

I turned 28 on the 1st of November, and I hope to keep my hair and regrow a lot!

No that is not me.

It is a photoshopped image that I made just now to show you how my hair would look if clipper-cut to about 1/4 inch. (I know how my head looks from looking at all angles in the mirror daily). :)

I don't care to take photos right now. :)

It's just mostly thinning of the crown, but it can be covered up a bit without looking 'comb-over like'. There are still many thick hairs in all thinning regions. Mostly the left side has been attacked by DHT and itching.

It's visible, but not 'bald spot' looking... it's obvious thinning.
