Mix minoxidil with potassium? Good idea?

Minoxidil works by opening the potassium channels. But what if there is not enough potassium in the scalp? Then it makes no sense to open the channels.

Would it be a good idea to use minoxidil with potassium?

It doesn't work because of that, if it did spironolactone would grow hair like crazy
