Monkey relative and baldness (BONOBO VS CHIMP)

what cause this gene to exist in hominadae for 20 million years? if girls don't like bald boys? (why this gene still occur)?

chimp have very rare pattern baldness on their head. Sometimes they have complete loss of hair on their whole body (rare) and some chimp have hairloss due to old age. Gorilla are even further back common ancestor with chimps and humans and bonobos and they have no hairloss at all

But in Bonobo, which human share more recent common acestor with (Vs gorilla ) they have much more hairloss on their head (even female have clear tree pattern and male bonobo show receeding hairloss). I think almost all bonobo i have seen have some kind of hairloss. Even rampant in female bonobo

This prove that pattern balding is pure genetic basis. Some bonobo have DUPA some have tree pattern (female) some have recedding (even)

Since hair plucking and grooming is strong social force and mating initiator (to form bond) maybe the hairloss in chimp mean for the opposite sex to not interact with that monke. myabe he is getting too old and his sperms will waste energy in sex or cause baby who will not be as strong parent as younger for this reason this balding gene served evolutionary role

All bonobo (compare to baby). This is more female dominated monke where female have stronger bond and they do the hunting (that mean the male have a higher parenting investment (vs chimp) and he have to be selective of the female he have sex with.. for this reason there is more balding gene prevelenace in female bonobo too). in chimps, they are male dominated and the female are selective of the male chimp. the male chimp have balding sometime and rare in females.

I think balding is a wild type trait in bonobo monkey. You can’t find one adult bonobo without hairlos. The pattern are clearly different in female and male. That means for bonobo balding is supposed to happen. Crispr can’t fix that only stem cell or hair cloning can

Who can find one gorilla with recedding or balding (maybe 1/10000) and that because of some other genetic problem or diet problem or aging. In chimp it occur but less frequent. See below the evolution tree. You can see when we share recent comment ancestor with those type of monke (gorilla have special mating structure with one boss gorilla who dominate all the young gorilla. So they cant be to selective anyway. the boy gorilla also have strng parent investment by protection and food)
