Good evening mates. I hope that you can forgive me for my bad english.

I'm a 20 years old boy, and started loosing hair when I was around 15 or something. My hairloss wasn't a problem unntil I got 19 years. Then I lost hundreds of hair in the shower and I started using Nisim products. I cried everyday and didn't know what to do, people asked me "are you going balled" and laughed of me. Girls stopped looking at me and my life got fucked up.
Nisim worked for me for an year, but then I started with Rogaine 5% and proscar (1/4).
Now I'm not loosing hair anymore, but my temples are so large that I don't know what to do. I have noticed some short hair some places but Their very thin. On the rest of my head I have only around 50% of the hair I had When I was younger. I'm going to use Rogaine until I regaine some of the Hair that I've lost, but it hurts pretty much in my chest when I'm using it so I'm considering switching to Nisim, Crinagen, Folligen, Tricomin or Revivogen but I have to use the rest of my rogaine first. What do you Recommend me to do?
Will I loose my progress with Rogaine if I stop using it(I'm still using Proscar)?

Heres a picture of my hair now (its kind of bad, but it's the best that i got)

I will post pics if i get some progress, but my progress isn't good enough now to post mor:(

Short of a Hair Transplant there is nothing you really can do once an area is slick bald or mostly bald. There are exceptions to ever rule of course but when it comes to the temples, dont expect any treatment short of a hair transplant to give you your hair back there.

However, using Finasteride and Minoxidil should help thicken the hair you already have and prevent or slow things from getting worse. You're going to have to wait a good 12 - 24 months before the FULL benefits of treatments become apparent.

Thank you man. Seen your pics and are happy for your success :) I'm still hoping to regrow some of my hair on the rest of my head. But I think that rogaine maybe isn't enough for me. I never had any sheds either  so it doesn't look so good.
But I don't want any hair transplant because I'm affraid for surgery.
I'm going to add another treatment but I don't know what yet:(

build my own laser

I have now decided that I will try to build my own lasercomb (650nm 5mw). Anyone of you tried this? I think this will work just as good as an expensive laser, but I will continue using Proscar and Rogaine. I just bought Ketoconazol shampoo too. I will post picks if i get anny success.

here's my knowledge

650 nm is about the same frequency the ruby laser uses for hair removal. Anything between 600-1200 nm selectively heats up melanin, the pigment in skin and hair. Weak lasers possibly can grow more body hair under some circumstance, but I have not seen studies or know how this applies to scalp hair with genetic problems.

Your heart is probably getting too much Minoxidil for it's tolerance. Try the 2%, and make sure you don't have a sunburn or any kind of acid in a minoxidil containing product. Nisim is a scam. The only active ingredient in it is Minoxidil. Look at the ingredients for yourself. Dilute your minoxidil with 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol if necessary for your heart to stop hearting. But yes, you will loose your minoxidil gains even with Finasteride helping you.

Most of the products you mentioned are scams. There are a few, like Xandrox, which are just 12.5% minoxidil with acid to burn your scalp and increase absoption, but we already know your heart can't tolerate much minoxidil. Save your money.

Oral Avodart, Dutasteride, can reduce DHT more than Propecia does, but at the cost risk of long term side effects. I want to apply it topically in my minoxidil so that I get a high does in my small scalp, which then dilutes to a low dose in my body, but I can't get avodart yet.

Order Eucapil, also called Fluridil. Anti-androgens have been used for years to fight prostate cancer, which is worsened by testosterone and DHT binding to androgen receptors. Many people on this sight use spironolactone and other none antiandrogens to protect their follicles from DHT, but at the cost of keeping testosterone from doing its job in their bodies. Also, I think spironolactone reduces production at the glands, rather than just blocking the receptors. Eucapil will break down if it leaves the scalp fat and enters the blood stream, so it is safe. Look up Flutamide, an old well known anti-androgen, and do a google image search, and you will see that it is similary to Fluridil, except fluridil has an N-C=O bond that breaks in water.

As for your hair, if you see any at all, then there are probably many small hairs that can be saved if you respond well. Shiny bald scalp is probably not saveable unless it just happened a few months ago and you are extremely lucky. And Propecia alone will not do it.

nizoral's antiandrogen won't help

Nizoral, taken orally, reduces testosterone production at the petuitary gland and the testes. Used topically, some might go systemic and do this, but at the cost of your body's testosterone. It does not block DHT binding in the scalp or react with testosterone in the scalp. It just reduces testosterone in the scalp by reducing it in the body so that less comes to the scalp in the blood. Use Nizoral only if your scalp is irriatated by minoxidil. That is its only value. For a good anti-androgen, buy Eucapil. Mine has not arrived yet, but I compared the chemical structure to Flutamide and other androgen blockers and it looks very believable. It looks similar to one side of a testosterone molecule, which is how it gets stuck on the recepter.

Stick with Propecia (Proscar) and minoxidil, give it a lot of time (years) as this is realistically your only hope of regrowth without considering a transplant. Grow your hair longer, and go for the Ceasar it'll make you feel better.
