month 2... is this a shed?

Exactly two months ago I switched from rogaine to topical finasteride w/minoxidil and also added nizoral. My hair stopped falling out almost immediately! This past week I´ve started noticing my hair falling out again. In the shower... On my shoulders.. It´s not really really bad, but noticeable.

What do you guys think, does this sound like a shed? I heard something about shedding after two months is normal and a sign that the treatment is working. True?

Yes.

It doesn't happen to everyone, it varies in intensity, it doesn't always happen at 2 months, and it doesn't always last the same amount of time.

However shedding does happen to a lot of finasteride & minoxidil users, and is thought to be a sign that it's working.

From my own experience with minoxidil I started losing hair quite dramatically at 4 weeks, for about another 4 weeks, and then by 5/6 months all the shedding had re-grown and the loss has stopped. No re-growth apart form replacing what was there before shedding though.
