Month and a half in...

Well im a mmonth and a half in and im dealing with more pimples than usually probably because of Fincar. no sexual or other side effects. will these zits go away or am i stuck with zits as long as im on finasteride?

If your getting an acne reaction to finasteride.. it'll only get worse in most cases. It is in my belief that the radicals of Type 1 enzyme that may be culprit for acne, through Bryan has showed some studies from Merck that prove otherwise, seem to imply that finasteride's inability to inhibit the Type 1 enzyme gives it "leeway" to create acne.

my new acne is from finasteride, i know it because i havn't had acne in years. anyways, it started at the one month mark. it's still there (on back and shoulders, the odd one on neck and face) but getting much better.
