So i started minoxidil like 1 month ago, on my temples and on the crown. A

And now i shed like 600 hairs a day, everytime i take my hand thru my hair i get like 30 hairs in the hand. A

And now to the worst thing, i am shedding everywhere on the head, not just where i apply minoxidil, like i shed all over my skalp and so.

If it was the minoxidil causing this insane shed would it not just shed where i apply the minoxidil?
I am so worried.

Don't panic.

It is normal to experience shedding when first starting minoxidil. It is even stated in the pamphlet that comes with whatever brand of minoxidil you are using.

Minoxidil goes systemic. That is why many people report having more body hair while using it. Its made my forearm hair grow like crazy, so it can affect other parts of the body, so, yes it can affect parts of your scalp that you don't apply it to.

You have no choice but to continue as that is the only way those shed hairs will regrow. This is a lifetime commitment (at least the lifetime of your hair)

So chill out for six months and apply your minoxidil! You should hopefully have some results by then.

Well i have also started growing much stronger beard. Is the body hair growth permanent, even if i stop it?

600 hairs a day seems a bit excessive even with a Minoxidil shed. Body hair growth would go back to normal once quitting.

Whatever hair gains, scalp hair, beard hair, body, whatever, will go away if you stop using minoxidil.

Thicker beard growth would be seen as a bonus by most men. Hopefully it will have the same effect on your hair. Actually, a lot of guys use it ONLY on their beard.

also another thing, people keep talking about side effects such as wrinkles and bags under the eyes and such from minoxidile, but i think people should not be so scared from it. the second week i was on it i got sides which were bloated face a bit and more specifically my lips but after 2-3 days it all went back to normal again and now i have no side effects at all.

Don't stop, shed at the start is expected. You should use for a minimum of 6 months before you decide what to do. People who stop after 1-2 months make no gains and its meaningless.
