Hello all,

I have been on Propecia for around 110 days and at this point I think it has caused hair growth. Around 3-4 weeks ago I started getting muscle twitches. At first I noticed it at one point at my right temple. It wasn't that frequent but still kind of freaky. Now I have muscle twitches in my legs that I notice only when I'm seated. They are there a lot of the time. I have it in other body parts as well but not very frequent. My legs do feel weaker also.
Do you know if this could be related to Propecia? My doctor told me to get off propecia but said it was most likely stress. Could this be something that will go away if I keep using Propecia?

Thanks in advance

I actually experienced this continuously for over a year when doing 2,5% topical finasteride, it was especially noticable on my eyelids, and i even underwent an MRI to find out what the hell was going on. The test came up normal, but after doing some research, i think it may have been some of the neurosteroids involved in the communication between nerve cells getting inhibited by the 5ari. Sides all went away when switching to topical dutasteride for some reason.

I had this after quitting finasteride my second time when my body went to sh*t. I’m so relieved I’m 100% again. Finasteride messes with the brain. It’s that simple. Get off of it. Now.
