Another Christmas, another X-Factor winner heading for no. 1. This reign of terror must not be allowed to continue, and a desperate effort to stop Ms. Burke's abominable rendition of Hallelujah giving Cowell & co. their fourth consecutive festive winner is underway.

Racing up the charts - second in the midweek rankings - is Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah. I implore you to download the single: a mere 69p from HMV, here's the link: http://hmv.com/hmvweb/digitalProductDet ... Id=6361670

Please act now before it's too late.
Thank you,
Slarti

I've said this before, I'm embarrassed for my country about the mindless idiots that fall for this shameless marketing ploy. These morons cant decide their own musical tastes and just swallow up the bland crap that Cowell pushes upon them.

So Cowell and his evil minions won out. As we surely knew they would....

What amazed me is how many copies were shifted, I mean I know there are a great many morons living amongst us, but that nearly 1 in 100 of the populace were willing to pay to hear Ms. Burke's caterwauling is still faintly depressing. I draw some comfort from seeing Buckley's "definitive" version - so called by Cohen himself - in second spot, but it's still four on the trot for the X-Factor.
