My 2 month Update

Ive been using
-5% minoxidil
-T-gel/Nizoral
for two months. I tried Finasteride from september 1st to the 25 and had to come off cause of sides. I have only been applying minoxidil to my receding temples (2 x per day). Anyway, i have to say that im seeing some positive results. All around the hairline and receded temples are tiny pigmented hairs and tons of white(vellus) hairs. I have not had any noticible shed. But the hair that is in the middle of my head is still thin. I ordered spironolactone and will use that in front to thicken up that hair.
got a couple of Q's for those who have been on treatment longer that me:

-Do minoxidil grown hairs grow to a decent length like regular hairs? or stay small?
- How long can i expect to see results with minoxidil? What is the peak?
- Will spironolactone thicken up thinning areas or only maintain them?

Where the sides really that bad with Fina? It says after a few weeks they go away, you did not want to wait and see? Dr. Lee says he is against Fina for the possible side effects and suggests 5% spironolactone in its place.

Yea, they say sides do deminish after the first couple of weeks, but I am a 19 year old with raging hormones and had much worse side effects than usual. Plus my age. I want to go on propecia maybe when im 24 and see how that goes. Hopefully my regimen will keep what I have until then.

I'm kinda the same way i get decent results in the front just having trouble getting something to kick in for the top,i'll probably be trying the 15% minoxidil before long.
