My 2 weeks diary

I am 25, have top diffuse thining with a bit worse frontal temples thining. It's been 2 weeks since I started finasteride (1mg), minoxidil(5% 2X am/pm), T/Gel Shampoo. (I have no clue on my norwood scale. Probably I am around 0.5)

As expected, nothing drastically changed cosmetically. The biggest difference I saw was I get more shedding from the shower. (Counting hair on my hands during shampooing) I used to shed about 10-15 when I started, and now I am shedding between 20-30. I shed about 5 when I apply minoxidil. I just hope that I don't get a massive shed although I am ready for it like many people who had it.

I am waiting for nizoral (2%) shampoo to arriave soon. (Complete the big 3) On the side, I am taking MSM, Grape seed extract, biotin-A, and Procerin (scam but oh well)

Any comments on my progress will be appreciated!!

It sounds like you are in about the same condition that I am. I just started using Rogaine 5% and using nizoral 1% and taking Saw Palmetto. Have you heard anything about Rogaine helping at the front/temples? That's where my main concern is, though I have diffuse thinning across the top.
Also, where do you get Nizoral 2%, and what exactly is Procerin?

Hey EV. Good to have a twin brother! We are on the same boat I guess. I come here regularly and hope we can help and encourage each other.
Yes I heard that minoxidil helps to grow hair not only the crown, but hairline & temples as well. (just not as effective as crown area) I haven't received yet, but I ordered the nizoral (2%) from the web (Canada) Procerin, you can get it from http://www.procerin.com, but most likely it's a scam. I am just taking it cause I bought it before I visited this site. So why waste it you know?

Cool man. Hopefully we can help each other along. If you're a .5 on the Norton scale, I'm probably a tad worse off than you since I've notice some loss in the temples within the last month or so. I'm probably like a 1.5
However, I'm encouraged by the fact that someone else is using a similar regimen to mine. Hairloss is not in my family either so I'm feeling confident that I can reverse this.
I was thinking about Xandrox 5% w/Retin-A to use at night. Heard anything about this?

Also, where did you get your Propecia/Proscar? Do you know of a cheap way to get it?
