My 30 year old boss uses Propecia

I have a young boss. his hair was thinning and I notice that it was thinning less and actually thickened up! He had been using Propeica for a month, no sides, and his fiance noticed the dramatic improvement. Before, she was telling him nothing was wrong! Anyway, just thought I would share that. No rogaine, nizoral, or anything else.

Propecia has worked for me as well, and the difference is immediate. The only problem lately I've been running into more and more people who suffer from the side effects of its use...which means you'd have to be one of the lucky ones to be able to use it and not feel any of the effects.


It shouldn't be the case, because I was told that only 2% of men who use propecia suffer from side effects.

I know, but I should mention he was in the very early stages of diffuse thinning. Still, I saw it with my own eyes. Now, remember, he nipped it in the bud, he was trying to fill in a gaping bald spot, etc. One of the reasons I posted this was that he said he felt no sides, so far. A lot of times we only get people with sides posting, including my own experience with Rogaine. Anyway, it can work if you do it early!

I'd say you can notice improvement in the first month, but not with hair growth, it's more a case of not seeing so much of your hair in the sink...

I'm at the 2.5 month mark, my hair seems to be doing ok...not any worse, can't really tell if its any better.

If I get a bit of thickness and my hairline just stabilizes I'll be content for the rest of my life if finasteride keeps working for me.

Only 21 and while people in my family tend to have hair loss, its usually slow...but always diffuse, something I really hate.

Here's what could have happened, as well. He may have been coming off a natural shed, and the regrowth could have been better, since there was less DHT. Anyway, it looks better, so he might just be a good responder.

I recall seeing results very early at the beginning of my regimen - I don't know if it was within a month, but it was fast.
