I started taking finasteride (proscar 1/4's) in the middle of December. All seemed fine the first week or so, I actually had an increase in my sex drive, and then by week 1.5 my T dropped like a brick, started getting gyno, mood swings, decreased sex drive, felt tired all the time.

So I tried taking 75mg of zinc a day, It did help alot, after about 2 weeks it cured some of my symptoms (sex drive, semen volume etc) but still had some of my gyno and tiredness. So I browsed Google and found out on another board for gyno suffer's about a supplement called DIM,

So I went online (vitamin shoppe I think ) and ordered DIM-Plus. I started taking this immediately 2 capsule in the AM and 2 capsules at night. so far 3 weeks into it and my Gyno has completely disappeared, and my sex drive is now through the roof it also cured my premo ejaculation.

If anyone is suffering bad finasteride sides, give DIM a try! now I still take 75mg's of zinc and also L-arginine every day. So they might play a small factor.

Yep, all good supplements. DIM is found in brocolli.

I've used all of the above. Unfortunately my e2 was ultimately too high to make much of a difference but i've no doubt these can help.

I started finasteride early January, and haven't had any symptoms, but last week I was paranoid I was getting Gyno. After reading about how it starts, I am sure that's not what I had. I had a small bean-sized painful lump on the side of my right breast, which has since pretty much gone away and is no longer painful. I had no visible enlargement, no nipple pain/growth, or itchyness. No sexual sides or anything...

I am curious though, how did your Gyno symptoms present? How fast did they come? Was it like an overnight thing?

It wasn't overnight, I'm in pretty good shape, Ive been doing P90x for over a month and noticed that my breast tissue was slowly enlarging (puffy nipples etc) wasnt painful but had a slight breast "itch" every now and then
