I'm 23 yo guy with diffuse pattern (Nw1/2) and I have sides on fina. I take 4 mg weeks but still got sides. Can I try to maintain with serenoa? I use nizoral and topical antiandrogen too...

What kind of sides ? Saw palmetto is a sh*t , might work a little for the prostate but for hair follices do nothing

Bad libido and erections, water sperm, literally water... Sometimes i got nasty pangs to testicles... Got improvements when I stopped finasteride.

Normally these side effects go away in the majority of people but if your doctor believes you should stop finasteride 1MG then you should listen to your doctor.

Which topical antiandrogen do you use ? Be careful maybe they are absorbed too much

I would try Ru or low dose finasteride for a time might the sides go away.

Are you using minoxidil 5%? You could try using that as that could potentially buy you a bit of time (months to years) while you figure out how you want to proceed.

If you are having sides with finasteride, you gotta choose one. It's either your d*** or your hair. Some say sides go away with continued use but that is not the case for everyone. I've tried for 6 months but sides did not subside.

I'd cut off fingers for your hair. I'd deal with low libido and no erection too.
