First of all, I have been losing my hair for about 3-4 years. About 7 months ago I decided to start minoxidil, and the side effects were terrible. ie. dizzy, sleepy, unwanted hair growth
My dermatologist gave me a months worth of propecia, and perscribed me to proscar. During the month that I was on propecia, I noticed an immediate improvement on the texture of my hair (it stopped the kinked hairs), my mother and my roomate even mentioned it. The last two months I have been dividing the proscar into 5 pieces, and I havent been as satisfied. The kinking hair has returned, and the shedding seems to be back at full strength. I have decided to divide the proscar into 4 pieces for now on to see if it makes a difference.
