I visited the hair doctor nine months ago and he took samples from my hair only to find out that it is at a 34% shedding rate at the crown (10% is normal) and 11% at the borderline (side of the head).
My DHT levels are naturally low. I have started Propecia four months ago (2 times a week). This has reduced my DHT levels by about 40% since my last blood test (one month ago). If my hair has been shedding at this rate for so long, how comes I haven't become bald yet? (My hair has been thinning at a slow pace), and how long do I need to wait for the Propecia to start slowing down this shedding rate?
P.S. I have been using Regaine on the crown for five years and only recently started using it on my hair line around five months ago.
