It's bloody embarrassing.. it's clear he's coping.

I was wearing a cap a few weeks ago when we had the heatwave in the UK.. To stop my head getting sunburn, but when i entered the pub i took it off like normal people.

I also have another mate who i don't really meet often (years!) but i see his facebook posts.. He's wearing a bloody BEANIE hat in summer.. All of his photos are with him wearing a hat or with his hood up. It's so cringe lol.

I don't even know if he's norwooding hard yet because i've not met him for years, but back in 2017 he has a photo and i can clearly see he's receeding hard. I can only imagine how bad things are now.

If he is past norwood 3 then that's understandable because a bald spot in the back will make society repulsed by you.

Nothing wrong with that. Being bald is considered shameful and he is rightly ashamed. If he's norwood 6 then people will think he looks dumb for wearing the hat everywhere, and he'd know that, but they will also definitely treat him better than they would without the hat. So I'd say that's the opposite of insecure.

Once you become a hat prisoner it’s hard to break free. I rem a night I was out with friends and one was wearing a baseball cap, we went to go inside and the bouncer said to take the hat off, he wouldn’t so we sat outside.. don’t think he had any fibres in

I would counter by saying that you are a sort of prisoner as a guy who is only NW3 and can comb over but refuses to do this and is ruined by hair loss. Hat prisoner is for NW5 and beyond but you yourself might be another kind of prisoner. The combover is always a good look.
