Just out of curiosity. I showed her this guy on the HIS website that looks identical to my brother then we got to talking about MP (without looking like an Easter egg dipped in gray paint). She said I could do that for you right now, then comes back with some watercolor paints and a brush then goes to town on my head. I won't lie, it looked terrible in the light but in the low light of the bathroom... looking in the mirror I felt like I was looking into an alternative universe at a more fortunate version of myself. It hurt. I cried a little, then took pictures.

Looking good man! The hairline is perfect. :bravo:

Does it make you consider scalp pigmentation?

Yes but I would be afraid to do it by itself without getting a hair transplant (fue bht combo) to give me more shafts to camo the dots better. With bht, texture won't be an issue since I would be shaving anyway. I had to rule out the other spot in Florida because they used permanent ink. HIS is temporary but can last for a couple of years if you maintain it by minimizing sun exposure. I never intend to grow my hair out but if I have to shave everyday I might as well look better for the effort.

Firstly your missus drew a very impressive hairline. Thats exactly how you should want it to look at your age. most of the guys on here given the chance would have given themselves a 2 finger forehead.

The first pic looks good but with the 2nd even at that shaved length its obvious the difference between the protruding stubble of the horseshoe and the flat to the scalp vertex.

First, your look really good UM (no :gay: ) and we have the same features, i showed the pic to my brother and he thought so too.

as for the pigmentation, FUE and incing could be a win. (if you decide to go that rout, you should be wise and after gettign the FUE try temp pigmentation to get a feel of how it will be.)

Wow, that looks great. If you ever decide to go the micropigmentation route that is exactly what your hairline should look like. I believe the main reason why micropigmentation looks fake on many guys is because they go from NW6-7 to like NW0.

Looks amazing, UM. It's sad that you can't grow it out. On one hand it's good that UCman is a good looking guy, so the hairloss haven't ruined him complitely. But on the other hand mother nature commited a crime when decided to give this viking a baldness gene.

Oh sh*t man, you actually look great (no homo)! You probably don't look terrible at all with a bald head. On first photo you look a bit like Zidane. You got strong facial features and it certainly helps when you're bald. However, if you are going to feel better, you should strongly consider micropigmentation, and possibly even tattoo an exact hairline like that!

Thanks to everyone for their responses. To SAF, I don't ever grow my hair past the length you saw in those shots before I buzz it down again. So even if I managed to be able to finance such a move, the end result would be a closer, lighter look than what you saw above. I would love to be able to grow it out to that slightly longer length because it blends well with my facial hair but that would require the hair transplants to create enough 3D shafts on top of my head to make the 2D dots look less obvious. I would imagine anywhere from 35% density to 50% would be enough to create the illusion.... Does that sound right SAF or do you think I would need to go higher? I know my donor isn't ideal which is why I have plenty of body hair to back me up.

If I was that handsome and had that good a headshape I wouldn't feel this bad about my balding...

I talked some more about it with my wife today and I told her about how I wanted to integrate hair transplants with the MP and she refused. She had seen some poor soul come into her work with a botched hair transplant and was convinced that I would either kill myself (by infection) or wind up looking ridiculous as a result. She was just sold on the idea of it being temporary but I tried to explain how I needed more hair up there to sell it... not trying to have 15 procedures and seven smileys on the back of my head but just enough diffuse hairs to look real. I explained the difference between strip and fue but emphasized to her that if I do anything, it won't be a casual undertaking. I'm fortunate that she loves me bald but I don't love me bald and that's the problem.

I dont really know man, amazingly it seems that despite it being an obvious idea no one seems to have ever done the hair transplant/Tattoo combo. (probably because the 2 parties ie the hair transplant Doctor and the Tattooist would prefer you just did their individual procedure.)
Obviously though the more the better I'd say.
But probabbly best to concentrate more on the Hairline for the hair transplant then a more reduced density transplant (as you said 35 -50%) ontop.
I'd say that about 4000 FUE and then another 4000 dots should give you the appearance of a decent stubble shadow.

Best bet is to email one of the more honest surgeons like Dr Feller.

Well i think the reason might be that FUE cost so much that they are afraid to f up the follicles with the tattooing..

While the new paint/hair makes you look younger and badass, it also decreases your intelligence aura a bit.

Eg, I would not trust a doctor/engineer/surgeon/head of state etc who looked like your posted pics.

In your profile pic, you look mature, intelligent, a cerebral guy.
