Well, gentlemen, it's back to this again! I'm 19 years old, and I've always pulled my hair down over my forehead, in some crude parody of a mop-top- I've always had a big forehead. Last February, I began to notice that my hair seemed higher than usual, and, naturally, this developed into a massive bit of paranoia. But, comparing my prom photo from last year and my last haircut, the hairline seems the same!
Family History:
My father has a full head of hair (think Norwood 1.5 with minor thinning around the crown) at 48, albeit premature graying. My maternal grandpa had a Norwood 2 at least until his late sixties, with thick, shaggy hair covering it. My paternal grandpa receded to a Norwood 3 in his late-twenties, and has since turned to white whispies. My paternal uncle possesses little, if no hair loss at all- maybe a 'mature hairline'- he is in his late-fifties.
What I've observed:
Normal shedding, although I've started to develop some shorter hairs coming in in front of my hairline. I haven't noticed much hair loss in some photos, and I never had my hairline kink forward at the temples- It's always gone straight up.
Opinions:
My mother gave me this piece of advice: "You aren't balding, you just have a receding hairline. Doctors and hairdressers have told you, time, and time again, you aren't losing your hair."
My father, being frank, said something like this: "You've looked like you've had a receding hairline for a while, but you haven't seemed to have actually lost any."
My girlfriend says I just have a high forehead, and everybody else I've asked tells me I'm fine.
One person made a joke about receding hair in front of me, though I don't know if he was talking about me.
Here are some photos for your consideration., starting with a baby photo and going up to last week. The last haircut was in May or so. Included is a photo next to my father from about three years ago. He hasn't changed much.
In all seriousness, I think I'm being ridiculous, but I figured I'd ask you guys. I worry about a lot of things, but I figured you guys would be the most educated on matters like this.

The last two were taken within the last couple of weeks.
Gimme a hand if you can! I don't want to be vain, or irritating, but I felt like it was time to make the post.
