hi, i wanted to just make a post. okay, what can i talk about. i think that someone suffers from hairloss has some reasons. its not just the hairloss alone. its something else aswell. see per example aplunk1 . he has depressions and anxiety. did it come when hairloss started apunk1?
for me, i had problems with myself before hairloss started. i think most of you did have problems with yourself before hairloss started. and thats the reason why you suffer so much from hairloss. because now you have even more problems with yourself. so you suffer from it. just my two cents.

I have other problems but my hairloss isnt helping any of them it gets me down and this has an accumulative effect on other things in my life. Without it I would be different maybe I'd still have other troubles but I know I'd be in a much better place than where I am now.

helpme007,

I believe that having anxiety/depression only compounds one's hairloss problems. It's proven that hairloss has psychological ramifications on individuals, especially the younger ones. As a result, it's likely that one will see fault with it, and blame it for his or her problems. It's a natural way of coping.

As for me, the answer is, yes. I had plenty of anxiety prior to my hairloss. In fact, it was just as bad, and sometimes worse, than before my hairloss started. I don't blame myself for my anxiety, though, because I've had the misfortune of being born to an abusive father and brother. I had depression because I was often (discouraged from/disciplined for) speaking to anyone about my family problems in school.

I think that getting treatment, in some form or another, is your best bet. Cheer up. There are others who have felt the same pangs of hairloss as you.

i am on treatments!

you should blame yourself for having anxiety because if you know you have it coz of yourself, you can do something against it. if you always blame others for your misuccess you will never get success. you surley are even a bit responsible for your problems too. thats a fact. i know that without knowing you. so do something against it. dont blame others for your problems. you have it in your hand.

helpme007,

I know that your intentions are good, and you're only trying to help, but I don't appreciate your condescending attitude towards me. I have a complicated past, and I hate bringing it up.

I don't feel that what you said has any true justification in my specific case. So, I'd like to leave it at that. Please don't direct any more attention to me in this thread.

I also have various disorders such as social phobia or depressions. But all these problems are nothing compared to hair loss. There is a way to overcome depressions but there is no way to overcome hair loss. My hair looks so ridicously thin nowadays that I simply can´t deal with it. It is killing me from the inside. It hurts so much. I am praying for a fast and painless death.

I've a lot of anxiety and depression. Besides that i've a lot of social phobia, love-shy, compulsive disorders including personality compulsive disorder.

Now i'm on self treatment reading a lot of the possible causes and considering medical help...

SInce 7 years old my family had a lot of financial troubles. Some members of my family like some uncles and cousins (both father and mother sides) took advantage of us. They borrowed us money and we'd paid HUGE amounts of interests. Because of that the problems became more and more like a snow ball rolling down over a mountain for 14 years.

But that wasnt enough. They treat us very bad and humilliate us a lot on social events and gatherings and no one like us and we were viewed like freaks and aliens.

Those problems had a side effect on me. An ant and some cousins treat me very bad when i was a kid and because of that i got some complexes thinking that i was a looser and it was a favour to be alive and be part of that family.

With no money i couldnt do anything like go out with school friends and even style myself for girls (even if i could there was race & tradition to mess with me). For weeks i dressed the same cloths.

And me and my brother aint stayed in home doing nothing. We've worked on my parents family very hard and we've take nothing from that work.

Of course this is nothing compared to those poor kids in the 3º world.

Kids are very vulnerable to those things because they arent prepared mentally to those kind of situations.
