Hey all,
First of all English is not my mother tongue
I just wanted to share my story with you guys as a way to thank u all for standing with me and supporting me in my journey of fighting hair loss, and for helping guys that need and are searching for hope ,I especially want to thank guys that replied to my forums when I needed help.
It passed nearly 1 year and 5 months using propecia, and here is my pics
this pics I shot after taking my first pill so at my start immediately(before propecia) at August 31st, 2012 (the first 4 pics)
the second two (after 4 month)
the last two now
my comments about the results:
the results after 4 months are much better than now(also it is not appearing on the pics)
but I can,t say this is because the effects of the drug has decreased but my life has changed a lot and my life is more stressed now more than I started the drug ,I had a new job with a lot of stress and all of that happened nearly 6 to 7 month after taking the pills.
1)at the first 5 to six month I used to do a lot of aerobic exercises(I used to ascend nearly 350 stairs every day!!!!)which I think it helped a lot with my overall health improvement and my hair regrowth
2)a lot of healthy and variable food(until now also but now I can,t manage it as the first 5 to 6 months),and cut out sugars( I believe in the relation between insulin resistance and hair loss)
3)trying not to masturbate as much as possible and I decreased my masturbation frequency to a big degree(I know most of u don,t believe in this, but at least I believe even if it doesn,t have any effect if it just affect me psychologically in a good way this will be good for my hair,I believe that masturbation will cause changes in male hormones levels and hormonal changes will be perceived as stress so it will cause hair loss especially in people sensitive for hair loss, like in some women hormonal changes of pregnancy will cause hair loss and this is scientifically proved)
many people notice the change especially my family and relatives asking what I did to my hair
a lot of times I washed my hair with ketoconazole shampoo not regularly, sometimes twice a week, sometimes once and sometimes I don,t at all,I don,t use other shampoos,if I don,t use ketoconazole I just wash my hair with water.and I believe ketoconazole didn,t help my hair at all,on the contrary it contributed to my hair loss
I used to make olive oil and garlic mask for my hair not regularly but u can say 3 to 4 times a month, that really decrease the itching completely and make it disappear which I believe it helped in some way (now no, just once a month,I can,t now because my life is very busy),the itching also has disappeared after Propecia
side effects:weaker erections and watery ejaculation, that is decreasing slowly with time but didn,t go completely
in the first 3 to 4 months my scalp begin to show scales as CRAZY!!! big amount and big in size,WITHOUT itching, that has gone away
I feel more tired and weaker(don,t know if because of propecia,or because of my harder and more stressful work now and because I eat lesser now also)
