Here is my story .
Had really thick hair till 25, in the last 3 year my hair started to shedd. tried various shampoos , oils, tried applying minioxidol but nothing really helped. I lost about 40% of my hair on the head.
Its not really genes nor DHT.
I used to shave my head once every year and in the last year when I did I noticed a whiteflake like thing but thats not really dandruff. And also I feel very itchy and then the shedding starts. Tried using Tar/Nizoral/Selenium etcc.. But they are all just a temporary relief and it starts again. Am guessing it may be something like fungal infection..visited GP and the GP said its seborrheic dermatitis but he is not sure and prescribed Nizoral.
At the moment am using nizoral but my fair is looking really bad with nizoral...bit frustrated and worried
