I think I've already told my story here, so this is just an update.

35 y.o., 13+ years on daily Proscar 1/4, minoxidil

Started losing my hair when I was 17 and today I'm still a NW2.

A couple of pics taken in 2011, the first one during a visit to Versailles, France (you can clearly see my hairline):

This is me and the legendary Terry Jones, in Funchal, Madeira.

That's a long time to be defying destiny. Really good stuff. That's pretty amazing you have been on finasteride for 13 years since I heard it stops working eventually. Is there any anecdotal evidence of how long, on average, it lasts for guys?

nice man. have you noticed any cognitive sides?

Why do you keep asking people that?

If they're posting in success stories and haven't mentioned it in their post, I think it's safe to assume that they don't.

because I want to see if the data that people post is true.

people are saying finasteride affects neurohormones and causes cognitive sides and are posting stuff about it.

rather than believing the data I'd like to know results from real users who used finasteride and haven't had any neurological sides.

do you have a problem with that?

Yes, there have been side effects: watery semen, maybe some loss of libido.

Congrats with your succes!

But how much have the sides affected you? Can you still have an erection without problem, or does it fail sometimes because of it you think? Could be nice if you could specify.

And, can we see your before pictures?

Congrats with your succes!

Sorry if I'm wrong, but weren't you the one looking for products to improve errections? If yes, I don't see why you didn't mention that.

Good success nonetheless. (hair-wise)

EDIT: Your old username was flavio, right? May I ask why you created a 2nd account?

No (major) erection problems so far but I have tried a couple of ED drugs before.

Why try ED drugs if there was no need to? :dunno:

And why did you change your username? (just wondering)

I tried them because my urologist told me to. I was always able to attain a normal erection but anxiety sometimes got in the way. Now that I'm in a stable relationship, I don't see the need to take them anymore.

If you're interested in knowing more about ED and its treatments, I recommend this website: www.franktalk.org

I'm incredibly jealous that you got to meet Terry Jones....almost as jealous as I am of Michael Palin's hair.
