My hairloss was very gradual so I didnt take immediate notice of how bad it had gotten until a few people at work commented on it. I had used Finpecia (generic) for a few years but for some unknown reason I stopped. My wife had told me after the first year that she saw results. Trust me: when they say good results will reverse after not using finesteride they aren't joking! Did a little research and found that my local Bosley Doctor, Edwin S. Epstein, has been doing this since 1990. I went for a consultation,met the Doctor,and had my procedure done the same day. Of course I made a gamble and reserved my spot with a NON REFUNDABLE deposit. No deposit was required for the consultation only. It was on a Friday and I had plenty of time off built up from work. I had about 2200 grafts done and I could not believe my luck. I was a 10%er. After all the scabs were gone (i did lose a few grafts the first week) my hair started growing almost immediately! Had a couple of guys at work accuse me of using Hairclub or wearing a rug. I also noticed gym and store employees at my regular stops doing double takes after I stopped wearing ball caps. I was not completely bald on top but VERY THIN, plus I have naturally fine hair. It cost ten grand but I am very satisfied with my new hair. I am considering another procedure of about 800 grafts with the thought that I can stop taking Finesteride and just be done with it. The grafts are genetically programmed not to fall out as you all know. If you opt for a transplant DO YOUR RESEARCH. I have read some bad reviews on Bosley but my Doctor had good pedigree plus he assured me that if the grafts didnt take he would replace them at no charge and that was in writing. If you have the funds and a good physician locally...GO FOR IT! As you know result will vary depending on the degree of your loss and some fellows may require 2-3 procedures to get satisfactory results. Good luck guys. BTW I will be using Finesteride until January 2015. Thats when I plan on the 800 graft procedure which was suggested by Dr. Epstein. I would like to suggest you use All Day Chemist if you trust generic meds from India for Finpecia. The prices were the best I could find.
