My thoughts after 2.5 months on propecia

Hey everybody, if you want to hear my feelings about propecia skip this paragraph as its pretty much introduction. So if you're still here, I'm 20 and been losing my hair for about 4 years. Never told anyone about it, and probably never will outside of my doctor and parents and you guys. I keep my hair pretty damn long, (I'm spanish so its pretty much a fro; its ugly, but I think its better than shaving it off and it does look good on some days). The hair loss is still pretty noticeable if you stand above me with some good light. Pretty much I have some sideways recession at the temples and a band of thining hair that goes back across the top middle of my head connecting the temples. Its an odd way to go cause I still have a pretty thick front line and the temples only recessed along the side of my head, (its almost a straight line with my sideburns now). Also, even though I noticed hair loss about 4 years ago, it only really picked up in the last year and a half, like A LOT, which is why I just started. If you want family background, pretty much every male in my family is bald, and my dad said he started losing he hair at about the same time.

So, after two and half months on propecia there isnt much of a difference of thickness. I didnt cut it in the meanwhile so its pretty hard to even check, (I cut my hair a few weeks before I started). I have noticed that the amount of hair lost though is a lot less than what Ive been getting in the last year, (from 150 hairs/day to less than 50). I think I had a shed at about 2 weeks. Idk, i was seeing a lot of hairs on my comb and in the shower, (and pillow and desk and ...), but I was already prepared to just wait out the 6 months. At about the same time I noticed a huge drop in sex drive. I could still get everything working, but I did notice that the finish was a lot less satisfying and uhm, reduced in volume  . Ahem, that was far more worrying. But I decided Id just practice on it, (honestly things could be worse than just practicing), and now it feels just about the same as it did before I started, (and Im kinda laughing about what it'll be like when I come off propecia). I think I'm starting a new shed right now, but a lot of the lost hairs are shorter than the rest of my hair, (some are about as half as long, and some are just a centimeter long or so). Good or bad, Im not too concerned. My doctor said itd help so Im going to stick with it. One more thing, I dont know if it'd have any effect, but Ive had a major change in lifestyle. I moved out of my parents house and am taking a semester off school doing an internship, (which is easy as hell compared to exams). I also hit the gym 3 times a week, although Ive been doing that for about a year now, (its my backup plan  ).

So that's it, not really looking for any answers, just wanted to talk a little about something I promised I wouldnt tell anybody about. As a long term goal, all I can ask for is that people wouldnt describe me as being bald when Im 25 or that I at least have an attractively shaped head.
