I'm a coder, so of all the side effects of proscer, getting the "brain fog" would be the most devastating for me.

Does anyone have any links of official decriptions of it? It is possible this is just an old dog's tail?

Brain fog is such a vague side effect, that everybody who is afraid of sides thinks he has it.

I need to write an article on Propecia Brain Fog sometime.

The whole brain fog concept is really just being a little tired. Maybe a tiny bit zoned out. When you modify your hormones all of a sudden, you get a little tired. Its temporary, and goes away when your body compensates for the change.

This may not be a good example, but have you ever had a cold, and you just feel a little like you're zoning out a bit? It's a very very very toned down version of that. I'd say its more like having 7 hours of sleep rather than 10. I remember feeling like I needed to get good rest, and not burn the candle at both ends for a few weeks. You just feel a little depleted.

There is no adverse effect to driving, or programming, or focusing. You can still do everything.

Propecia side effects are usually very subtle, if at all. It's not one of those pills that you pop, and "feel different" an hour later either. In fact that's one of the first things I noticed about it.

Still, you should listen to your body. Don't ignore it if it feels like something isnt right.

Thanks Admin, that's a big relief for me - let's just say tiredness is a none-issue for me. i'm prescribed medications for my ADHD which constantly leave me in a state about as far as you can get from "tired"...

I also drink 2 bottles of NOS energy drinks everyday... Everyone at work thinks I'm a secretly an android because I never eat lunch or talk much to everyone and just code for 10 hrs straight with ear plugs in and then call it a day, ha ha.

Check Cassin's link in the Antiandrogen forums for drug interactions with Propecia, and make sure you inform your doctor you'll be taking it. Its always smart to have someone responsible for your health, in addition to yourself.

Try to take care of yourself. You're really punishing your body with those energy drinks, and lack of lunch. You're going to see how things like that compound over time. Let me put it this way: The difference between the 70 year old jogging down the street and the 70 year old who can barely walk is directly tied to what they ate and how much stress they put their body through starting in their 20's...
