Toppik is crap. Nanogen is much better. Last week I ran out of nanogen but still had some old Toppik and i remembered now why I switched. Nanogen sticks to the hair, and gives it more density while toppik looked like sawdust on my scalp. In in wind the Nanogen stays there, the Toppik blows away. When I use Toppik, it's like I have sand in my hair. Nanogen looks more natural and a little rain won't affect it. I can forget about going out in the rain with Toppik. It runs off so easily.
Nanogen is so much better than Toppik

Hmmm, I use Toppik and it works very well for me.
I would like to try Nanogen again, but I won't "sprinkle" anymore since I got the Toppik Spray Maximizer. I suppose I could break open the Nanogen canister and put it in one of my old Toppik cans, because the Nanogen bottle doesn't open and you can't use the sprayer with them(I wrote to them about that too).
But another reason I don't use Nanogen is the price.
I might try it again in the future(if I can get it to work with the sprayer), but Toppik works just fine for me.
Oh, and if Toppik "runs off" so easily in rain for you, just try some hairspray. I have been out in rain on my bike and the Toppik didn't "run" or come out.
