I see a lot of talk about nanogen concealer a on here! I haven't seen anyone really mention any downsides, besides price, and it's a pain to apply. Are there any other downsides tho, I.e. Additional hair loss or accelerated hair loss?

Personally, I haven't found concealers to be very useful. Most of the powder seems to sit on my hair where it's dropped, If I attempt to comb it in, it ends up sitting on my scalp or cob rather than my hair. Maybe I don't use enough, may I applied it wrong, but I never found concealers to give too much thickness or coverage.

I use Xfusion (made by Toppik company so probably the same but cheaper price).

I tried Nanogen and didn't like it at all except for the medium brown color being a better match. I found Nanogen to be over priced 1.5 times more than Xfusion, won't come out of the container except in clumps which defeats the entire purpose, doesn't stick as well, and doesn't look as good. Plus it is in a sealed container so you can't use a spray nozzel with it or even transfer it to an old used Xfusion container.

Xfusion can be sprinkled on as little or as much as you like to get a good result. I found Nanogen, and every concealer in the shirt wide containers, won't come out unless you turn turn it from a completely upright to completely upside down position and then it comes out in a clump.

I just wish Xfusion got their head out of their butt with the colors. The medium brown is too dark and the light brown is light blond.
