I don't think it's possible, but it would be good if they could make Merck bankrupt  maybe this would open the way for some new treatments

cassin I don't think your comment is very relevant given that most of the guys on propeciahelp got scripts from a Doctor or dermatologist.

I know you're probably hoping these developments hit the skids but don't let it cloud your comments on here!

Why would I hope that? Make sense please.

Things are starting to heat up:

This won't have any impact unless it's filled with people who got a prescription in person from a real dr and they used a pharmacy.

i heard rumors that if is possible to prove that the biological damage is related to fina u could be refounded

From who? Merk won't be held responsible for people using some off shore site selling generics to people without a prescription. Sure these lawyers will love to talk to people to gather info but that's it.

These lawsuit sites exist for countless meds.

I've never had one person give a good rational explanation for such comments. And when I lay out things from my side they never reply. It's a simpleton accusation.

A forum which has a moderator called 'Propecia Junkie', which bansihes all media references to permanent finasteride damage to this small sub-forum, which links to internet pharmacies selling finasteride etc etc might not be the bastion of objectivity you seem to think it is.

There's been tons of guys banned from this place just for making mildly anti-finasteride statements.

Personally I don't think Cassin is as bad as some other admin have been about finasteride; he isn't worked up about it like you're attacking his mother when you present vaguely negative information about a pharmaceutical drug.

The question remains though: why does he keep getting suggesting the lawsuits against propecia will be derailed by self-medicators when most got it from a Doctor?

He isn’t a mod here anymore and hasn’t been for a long time.

This “small sub forum†has one of the biggest average read times on this site second to only “Tell your Story.†When it was made people accused us of being anti-finasteride so revivogen or whatever else was trendy at the time could be pushed. See? We can’t win with conspiracy theorists. If we put a “no side effects†sub forum right under this one people would complain about it.

I am not as bad about it? When have I ever been pro or con when speaking about finasteride. In fact I don’t think anyone, including you, has ever asked my opinion on it. Just assumptions are made one way or the other. When I even comment on it I am almost always saying the same thing…something like “go to a dr and get real prescription and not something random off the internetâ€

No that is not what I am saying. I am simply saying this won’t involve people self-medicators And most people on forums are self-medicators which is something I am, always have and always will be against. I am an advocate of people being safe and being monitored by a Dr.

I'm not a lawyer but I wouldn't worry about this.

The firms are obviously smart enough to use real cases, from real users who followed standard protocol by obtaining their prescriptions from a doctor and got their drugs from the pharmacy.

There are plenty of men who fit this criteria, the above argument is completely moot.

It's not wildly important but it's not moot either. It's simply a point which is what forums are a collection of. I think some guys will be misled by some of these law firms.
