I'm on day 6 of finasteride and the only side effect I think I have is brain fog. I took finasteride for the first time in april for a week and the same thing happened, I felt zoned out. I had an aching pain in the groin region. I was also heavily stressed back then because of exams so I'm sure that might have been a factor. After I stopped taking it the brain fog reduced but I still had it throughout april to june but it was very slight.
I started finasteride again on the 11th of june so nearing a week and my brain fog got worse 2-3 days in. I should also clarify my brainfog differs a bit I don't feel forgetful or anything, my cognitive skills are fine. I just feel zoned out, like out of my body. I don't notice it as much when I'm a bit occupied.
My brother's been taking it a little longer than me with no sides and another guy who I've spoken to on here took the same time as I did originally and he barely has any sides (2 months in). I feel like I should still take it for a month because some people have said on here that their brain fog went away after a month.
And if it matters I had a blood test a few months ago and everything was fine.
