Need Advice Urgently ( 20 Year Old )

I'm 20 years old I have had receding temples since I was 16. I have always had dry skin and very itchy scalp since I was 12, I'm aware itchy scalp can occur when balding.

3 months ago I noticed more hair fall than normal and thought it might be best to jump on 1mg propecia

3 months in and still I'm seeing a ahit load of hair fall, I feel like my temples have slightly improved though.

Please note I'm as horny as always and have not had any sides whatsoever. Does this mean the drug is not working ? Also what's the deal with my sudden shedding of hair ?

I'm a Norwood 2-2.5

Your hair loss is very similar to mine which is funny becsuse im the same age as you.. Your recession comes straight up like a 90 degree angle which can make it look worse than it actually is. Your crown looks fine. You are somewhere inbetween NW2 and NW2.5. Hopefully propecia will work for you, it didn't for me unfortunately.

Yeah I do feel asif though my crown is fine ( for now ) in what what do you think propecia didn't work for you ? I'm having no sides whatsoever which makes me feel it's not working.

I am seeing weird bits of hair forming at my temples but can't tell if they are just miniaturised hair ?

Well, i had full temple hair before starting propecia my hairline was the only thing that was going back. I jumped on propecia and within 4 - 5 months i had only half of my temple hair left and my hairline had receded further and faster. By month 9 things were looking pretty bad, all my temple hair was gone and there were alot of miniaturised hairs at the corners of my hairline, i got really desperste and jumped on minoxidil. Now at 2 and a half months into minoxidil and almost a year on finasteride my temple hair is growing back and so is my hair line. Im weening off finasteride so i dont suffer any adverse effects.

What a nightmare, if I could offer any advice I would but I'm new to all this. I think I'm going to give myself another month on propecia see what happens, I thought it would stop temple reccesion meyself but obviously your story conflicts with that.

We are only 20 in 4 years we will have our locks back just in time for our prime years

Dont let my experience put you off, if you think you are seeing regrowth definitely stick with it! I am having success now using Loniten so im not so salty about finasteride anymore.
