Hey guys.
I have been using propecia for about 18 months now and spent the first 8 months taking the full 5 mg after which I changed to 2.5mg, not sure though.
I haven't felt any side effect at all, Ive grown some hair, but have been shedding lately, maybe due to rogaine foam.
The thing is, my mom perscribes me the medicine and as there isnt a lot of information about the long term effects of it, she doesnt like much the idea of me continuing taking it.Soon, I expect her to refuse to perscribe it. :(

So I wanted to show her some of those studies that show that finasteride is safe, though Ive told her many times. Ive been reading some of them studies on HairLossTalk.com, but I havent found any that shows no harm on patients, they all talk about the sexual side effects. Can you guys help me out? Finasteride is metabolized by the liver right? Can we still say that its safe after a long time?
