Need Some Advice With Dutasteride

Hello I have been slowing receeding since I was 22 I'm on 28 now, I've been on minoxidil foam and finasteride on and off for years.

Last November I decided to try dutasteride, don't have any side effects.

But I feel it's making my hair worse, it's really starting to thin out at the front

When I had blood tests my testosterone levels were really high.

I read somewhere on the forum that people with high testerone who take dutasteride is just as bad as not taking anything at all because the excess testosterone is turned into DHT. Is this true?

Also should I go back on finaseride and quit dutasteride.

I've never had any improvements with any treatment, I genuinely believe that the treatments have made my hair worse.

Thabks

Also I'd like to get a hair transplant st some point to fix my hairline but another part of me thinks what's the point if the drugs im taking won't prevent future loss.

The pic above is what my hair is like now and the pic below is from September 2015 just before starting dutasteride

Seems like a shed...but what do i know.
Also, I don't understand the logic behind taking dutasteride is like taking nothing at all...
That is literally impossible being that dutasteride lowers DHT, no matter who you are.

However, people can have different reactions to dutasteride...But dutasteride does it's "job" in terms of suppression, no matter what.

Probably a shed. High testosterone is good, you probably won't get side effects and there's less chance of androgen receptor upregulation.

Thanks

I just got on dutas 1x/week two weeks ago. Honestly, I can literally FEEL that my test is higher when I take my dose. I also feel like the spot on my hairline that was already thin before starting dutas MIGHT be a tad thinner now...

You're 8 months in now... Did you see any good results from duta around months 3-6?

What's your T at?

No idea. But the fact that my sex drive is up, I'm popping boners randomly throughout the day even when I'm tired, and I was stronger in the gym tonight even though I was exhausted makes me believe it has increased.

It looks like improvement to me but I can't say for sure because it's from different angles. Where did you get your dutasteride? locally or online?
