hey, i found this site through google while looking for answers

basically, all my life i've been told my hair is really thick. and i mean like unusually thick. everytime i get a haircut my hairdresser comments on how thick my hair is (+ uses one of those thinning scissors to thin it out). last time he said it was when i got my last haircut, roughly a month ago. i pretty much have a perfect hairline too, some slight (just barely noticeable) receeding on one side, but other than that nothing.

i have seborrhoeic dermatitis (scalp), and it gets really bad during winter, like i constantly have to itch my scalp, and a couple of hairs fall out prett much everytime i do it.

but that's not why i'm posting this; today, in the shower, i noticed a lot (like around 100 or so) strands of hair in the drain, all were from today. i've never seen this before, either because i haven't paid attention, or because it's just recently started happening. i don't really know to be honest. i don't even know if the hair in the drain really is a lot or not, but i get physically sick when i look at it :(

so i've come to the conclusion that there could be 4 possible reasons for this:

#1. winter hair shedding (?), not even sure if such a thing exists, but if it does it would make sense

#2. the seborrhoeic dermatitis/constant itching make me lose my hair, if that's the case; will it grow back again? pretty sure it will but i'm ocd so i need it confirmed lol

#3. i'm balding

#4. i've always been like this and am just starting to notice now

thoughts? opinions/help would be greatly appreciated

(sorry if there's gramatical errors, english isn't my first language)
