I've been alternating so many shampoos lately that I've forgotten which of the Neutrogena products have been known to block the production of DHT on the scalp.
I have a bottle of T-gel but I've been reading conflicting reports here and elsewhere about the possible dangers of coal tar as a shampoo ingredient. Some threads mention that coal tar in excess can cause cancer while others state that the .5% amount in T-gel is much too low to worry about.
Several years ago, I read that the European formula for T-gel was a bit different than that of the USA. Checking Amazon.co.uk, I noticed that T-gel for greasy hair in the UK contains salicylic acid and piroctone olamine.

Salicylic acid is usually only found in T-sal here in the states.
