I am going bald, I have thinning hair on the temples and on the crown. I am 23, and have been losing my hair since I was 20 or so. I am leaning towards propecia, the lower dose. And it seems that everyone uses 2% Nizoral. So thats what I am planning on doing. Now, for my questions.

Is that a good regemine?

Does propecia cause you to get gyno?

I am a bodybuilder, will this effect my ability to gain muscle?

Thats all I have for now. Thanks

Also, alot of people are using minoxidil with their regimine. Is that a good thing? Any advice would be helpful.

Any dose of Propecia should be beneficial to your hair, but I would suggest taking at least .5/mg, as the general consensus here seems to show that this is ideal for low sides and good results.

2% Nizoral or 1% -- They both work. I use both and rotate them. Often I apply the 2% in with the 1% when I shower.

It's a very rare side effect. It's slim to none that you'll get it. You can always discontinue Propecia if you think you're getting it.

Taking finasteride shouldn't affect your ability to gain muscle. In fact, the chances are more likely that you'll gain more muscle than without it. Finasteride blocks DHT, which results in a greater amount of testosterone flowing through your blood. More testosterone = more muscles.

Good place to get these products?
Well, I got my Propecia from Walgreens. It was very expensive. Most people here tend to order online, from reputable pharmacies such as http://www.inhousepharmacy.com or, the route I would go, http://www.unitedpharmacies.com . Generics work just as well.

Minoxidil?
It's a great product, and it DOES work. It's a great product, but it's kind of a hassle. I would advise only going on it if you feel like you need to. You'll have to use it for the rest of your life.

I hope this helps.
Any other questions, please post or contact me.

don't you also have to take propecia for the rest of your life?

yeah but popping a pill every day for the rest of your life is alot easier than putting some greasy solution all over your head twice a day forever, no?

I don't mind my minoxidil applications though.
