Did you read it or only looked at graphs? what is it? My neck hurts from looking at it..

I've read a bit.. It seems to talk about a 7 year old boy who regrew his hair? He was/is suffering from Pearson syndrome.

No just found it, apparently the company accidentally discovered this while researching for cures on extremely Rare mitochondrial diseases

CyloA =/= CsA
Next, the hHFs were cultured for 1 day (day 1-2) in hHFs culture medium supplemented with 5, 12.5 or 50 μg/ml of the thawed mitochondria or Cyclosporine A (a known inducer of hHFs growth) as a positive control.

I'm an idiot do you mind if I delete my comment so as not to confuse people

OK anyway so they want to source their mitochondria from chicory or other plant or animal sources and... Make a topical?

Impressive. Correct me if I’m wrong but would they have to go through all 3 phases of FDA trials? Or is the active substance in this cream already approved, meaning no trials are necessary?

I email them and got no reply I think it says somewhere that its cosmetic and no need for trials since mitochondria are not considered drugs

Before we exploit the mitochondrial pathway we might want first a study showing the differences in Androgenetic Alopecia and healthy scalps mitochondrial network (is it in Androgenetic Alopecia more fragmented? or what is the issue?). Otherwise its hard to properly target. Sounds like a shotgun patent to just cover all form of milkable angles. The only thing I would be currently interested in testing in this regard is mitoq topically as there is already a paper of normal q10 having an anti-aging effect on hair whileas mitoq does target the mitochondria specifically. Also its more bioavailable and water soluble, with 678.8 it is also clearly lighter than the other two forms of Q10 making it more likely to reach the hair follicle.

It implies faster growth compared to untreated controls.

I did not read the entire patent but from what I read they are isolating mitochondria from placentas and injecting/applying it?? What are these topical solutions you are talking about?

Red light therapy improves mitochondria activity. So maybe there's something to this, just saying.

Patents talk about god and the world to cover all angles without giving price what they actually want to do, if they even are planning to do so.

Depending on what the issues with the mitochondria in Androgenetic Alopecia would be, there are different drugs, mostly experimental though, to intervene. But there is no point in gbing anything and taking the risks of experimentals until one knows what the issue is in AGAs mito. Till then ppl can try at best adding cheap and easily available stuff to their regimen like q10, melatonin... probably in combination as those naturals are not potent enough.

Typical lllt failt. ppl might wanna try other wave lengths, like near infrared, green light, blue light etc, but then again it might be scam altogether. Also selling cheap leds as low.level-laser therapy probably does not help either.
