hello all,
I've read all of your success stories and it has made me very excited. I am a 23 y/o diffuse. I've decided I will take the minoxidil, finasteride, laser comb, nioxin, revivogen, multi vitamin, biotin route. I know it's a little overkill, but i think if i try everything that people have had success with, i can't go wrong. one thing though, what is better - finascar or finopecia? i think i read somewhere that finopecia has more side effects? Thanks for your wondeful stories and i look forward to sharing mine. Regards - RD

Well i think you should take a little more time to read these boards before you jump on all of those. For one thing, i've never heard of finascar or finopecia :p

Fincar is a generic form of 5mg of finasteride, whereas finpecia is a generic form of 1mg. If you buy the former and split it into 5ths, it will be cheaper. However you should always take 1mg (or 1.25 if you quarter it which some do) so they are both the same drug and thus side effects are the same.
