Just started using minoxidil 5% liquid. Probably a Norwood 3V. I keep a very short haircut and chose liquid for the price.

Sure hope it works.

Any issues with using sunscreen on the vertex while also using minoxidil?

one other question. when applying the liquid, it is hard to keep within the confines of the thinning area. does it affect the normal, thicker part of hair in any way?

Just keep using it and you'll know something in a few months. I wish I could help with the sunscreen question. I just don't know. Minoxidil will stimulate any hair it comes in contact with and sometimes beyond that if it goes systemic. Good luck.

Minoxidil can work wonders, but unless you're on finasteride as well it's a losing battle.
