hello all, new here and so far this has been a helpful forum.....I've done some very quick research and know the 2 main leading drugs to combat hair loss is minoxidil and finas and there you have others (dutas, etc etc) my question is the following....which does what ? maintain current hair/ slow down loss and which is for possibly stimulate new growth or actual growth specially in hairlines/temple region which is where I am needing it for. also, what's the word on DHT blocking shampoo and those containing biotin/saw palmetto etc....

Minoxidil is for making the hair more thick(can be used even if the guy doesn't have hairloss)
Finasteride is for lowering the dht.
Dutasteride is the same as finasteride but stronger.
