Newbie question

Can finasteride cause shedding all over the head, ie, not just in the male pattern baldness area? I've noticed some increased hair loss outside the boundaries of even the most extreme Norwood...doesn't really bother me, just interested to know if anyone else has experienced this. Also makes me think I've got Telogen Effluvium...but unlikely.

It happend to me aswell shed from non traditional male pattern baldness areas like back of head, but it lasted only a week or 2 and I no longer shed
