Hope you guys can help me out here as I am new to this hairloss treatment stuff. I'm 24 at the moment and have been experiencing significant hairloss since I was 20. I basically never paid much attention to it as I am african and always kept my hair quite short...I just have that had shape. I have a couple of questions:
1) The first couple years I experienced alot of inflammation and itchiness in the balding area...But for some strange reason in the last year so that itchiness has gone away completely. Does that indicate anything?
2) I just started on Minoxidil 2%....I'm concerned about shedding. I don't have much left in the frontal scalp so will I lose whatever is left if with the use of Minoxidil? And also does anyone know if the results vary for each type of hair...as I said I have african hair so should I expect a different reaction?
