Just got Dr. Lee's 5% Min and its amazing how fast it dries. Its simply amazing. Maybe seconds. Rather it dries while I am applying it. A few question. Answers will be really helpful and appreciated

1. My temples are slick bald. When I apply Min on them I massage it with my finger. I am wondering whether the finasteride enters my finger rather than the scalp ?

2. I want to apply Rogaine in the night. But I also apply the spironolactone 5% from Dr. Lee which he suggests I apply once the Min dries. I know Rogaine takes like hours to dry and I cant wait that long. How can I apply the spironolactone with rogaine ?

3. My hair is very dry. If I dont apply something immediately after I take a shower on wait hair like hair oil or sumthin, my hair becomes really dry. Can I apply hair oil on my hair wait for sometime and then apply Dr. Lees minoxidil ?

4. I have curly hair and I said pretty dry. Difficult for me to apply Min directly on the scalp and it remains on the hair. Will it eventually reach the scalp.

OK..Some of the questions may be stupid. But I guess when most of you started you may have had similar questions. So, any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dont message in too much just a couple of seconds. Make sure you wash your hands and fingers well after use!

If your going to use Rogain at night, i think it will be ok to apply spironolactone 1 hour after

No, you have to make sure you apply directly to scalp. You could apply it both after showers to ensure hair doesnt curl up.

I use my spironolactone 2% prior to my Xandrox app per instructed by Dr. Lee.

As far as the application I have longer hair so what I do is get a small comb and part the hair from left to right horizonatally. Usually a part on the left, center then right in a line from left to right. I also tap the dropper on my parts instead of squeezing it out. I do this from back to front, works great for me although it's kind of hard to explain.

How come you don't use Dr. Lee's version of minoxidil (or Xandrox) at night? I am sure those where his instructions. I am just curious because I have been using Rogaine at night, but consulted with Dr. Lee also. He said to use his xandrox at night (for cosmetic reasons) and his minoxidil in the morning.

I use Dr. Lee's 5% at night. But I wanna use Rogaine as it is more potent. I am not using Xandrox since people on this forum hav had no susccess with it.

I have to ask, why is Rogaine more potent? I thought they both have the same amount of concentration of minoxidil.

I've had success with just under 2 months of treatment with my regimen. Don't go saying this when it's entirely not true. No study shows that the potency of 5% Rogaine brand minoxidil and 5% Regrowth Minoxidil (Xandrox or Regular Minoxidil) are any different.

Yeah you are correct. I shouldnt say this, hence I will reframe. I think i should reframe. Some people in this forum believe that Rogaine MAY BE more potent than Dr. Lee's minoxidil. I am not sure if thats really correct or incorrect. So I wanna use both.

Well lets just put it this way - you're doing it cos Gardener does it and has a "hunch" that its more effective. Even though he made it clear that he wasnt claiming anything and he didn't want to change people's mind.

Then again he has been fighting this battle, armed to the teeth with various minoxidil formulations, for a long time, so his advice should be good :)
