Nivea Hair Recharge - scam or true?

As far as I know no one in this forum has tried it. There is another thread on the subject.

I'm interested in trying it, but it's not available in the UK. Nivea products are usually good, I don't expect them to sell something that has zero effect. I mean I trust the brand name.

I've looked at a few websites to see if I can order it online. It's a cheap product, but the few websites I came across are too expensive. It's just not worth ordering it and paying high cost for postage.

It may not be a magical solution, but I presume it's something that helps.

If you have access to it, give it a go and let us know how you get on...

Hair Recharge Tonic

ANTI HAIRLOSS SYSTEM

The System of Shampoo and Tonic, combining two highly active ingredients Carnitine and Creatine, supports hair growth. Carnitine increases energy production in hair root cells while Creatine facilitates energy storage (in-vitro proven). The System stimulates hair roots and reduces natural hair thinning.

The special nozzle diffuser allows targeted application but also enables easy spreading on the whole scalp. The extra-light formula absorbs quickly and leaves no residue on hair and scalp.

I doubt it will do anything.

I doubt too, but it's a big brand.

And they talk about dht and everything.

Aren't creatine and carnitine proven good for hair?

I use Nivea Hair Recharge Shampoo for 2 month now. I use it alternating with Nizoral. Sometimes my hair looks thicker but anyway I like the feeling that it gives to my scalp also smells very nice.

Are you not supposed to use the topical lotion and shampoo??

I don't think the shampoo on its own is supposed to do much.

Does anyone know where I can get this cheaply?

Im thinking of trying this.

Im exactly the target group for this product. Someone who is at the very earliest stages of hairloss but its not really noticable yet.

Also if I were to use some other treatment like the Tricomin Therapy Spray would it be ok to combine the 2 treatments?

whats say you all?

thank you

So one question, do I wash my hair with Nivea Hair Recharge Shampoo in the morning also or only in the evening? I know that Tonic is applied twice...

I remember one study showing hair growth promotion from L-carnitine L-tartrate; not sure which form of carnitine is in this product.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look out for this when it hits the shelves. Looks an interesting product and will probably be cheap enough. I just hope the tonic isn't greasy! They usually are.

I bought a bunch in Germany. I consider it a tertiary product that may supplement anti-androgens and proven hair growth stimulators but alone I doubt it is very effective...
