Nizoral and a few other questions

Part of almost everyone's regimen seems to be Nizoral. What does it do that helps with hair loss?

Also, does the type of hair loss you have help or hurt your chances for products such as Propecia and Rogaine working? I have hair loss all over the top of my head, but there is still some hair. Will Rogaine and Propecia (and Nizoral) work for me just as well as anyone else?

They say Rogaine can work in two months. Does anyone actually see results that fast?

Thanks guys! This forum is a huge help!

To the nizoral question: It's an anti-fungal/anti-inflammatory shampoo that encourages a healthy scalp condition. It's impact on hairloss is negligible at it's best, but it's effect on the scalp is a good indirect weapon in the fight.

Now, there is no answer I could possibly give you to your second question that would be truthful in any way possible. EVERYONE reacts differently to every medicine. What works wonderfully for one person might have opposite effects for someone else. The only way to know for sure is to try.
